Vehicle Registration —
Toyota Financial Services does it with Resolve
Becoming one of North America's leading car companies takes a great product, excellent sales people and the ability to consistently and repeatedly satisfy customers. Obvious? Sure. But for Toyota Financial Services, customer satisfaction goes beyond the dealership experience. It lives in their ability to effectively manage the processes behind the scenes including contract administration, licensing and head office processing.
But there's one thing that happens after the customer has picked up their car that most people don't know about – the registration of the vehicle. For Toyota Financial Services, this used to be a paper-intensive, time-consuming process. When Toyota decided they wanted to streamline this process and move to an electronic solution they did it with Resolve.
Demonstrating its leadership in the industry and commitment to continuous improvement, Toyota Financial Services was the first car company to outsource its registration processes to Resolve 15 years ago. Resolve created an electronic registration process that enabled dealers to send vehicle information through a central hub to provincial registry offices.
Moving from paper to electronic processing proved to be an excellent decision for the company. Not only did it save time and money, the solution was able to expand with Toyota as sales increased over time.
"Resolve is an extremely proactive company; always coming up with new ideas that will benefit our business," explained George Ellinidis, General Counsel for Toyota Financial Services. "They keep us apprised of changes to provincial legislation, look for ways to improve processes and are always there when we need them. We just couldn't do it without Resolve."
